Follow the Yellow Brick Road...

We are so excited in 5th and 6th class about our production of the Wizard of Oz which will take place in May. 
We will perform for all classes and teachers in the school aswell as inviting our parents to see the show. We are super busy at the moment making props, sorting costumes, learning scripts, singing songs and polishing our dance routines for our big performance! We hope to see as many faces there on the day!

A great day out...

We had a fantastic day out in St Stephen's Green and the National Concert Hall's Music in the Classroom last Thursday.

Well done to the girls in the class who won so many prizes at the weekend for Freestyle dancing, Baton twirling and Irish Dancing...

World Book Day

Well done to 5th and 6th class who did lots of fun activities last Thursday for World Book Day.
We had competitions in the class for the best bookmark design, the best dressed character from a book and we also designed our very own book covers and wrote the blurb for this book. Junior and Senior infants really enjoyed the books we read for them in the afternoon....

FAB Table Quiz

Well done to the girls who represented our school in the Film and Book Table Quiz yesterday. Our school was very lucky to host the quiz this year and we had great fun. Well done to the winning table who had two girls from Ravenswell on the team.

Chinese Dancing

We were so lucky to have Sophie come in and teach our class some Chinese Dancing in January. She wore some beautiful costumes. We really enjoyed the afternoon.
