GAA Blitz

We had a great day in Bray Emmets at the Gaelic Football Blitz. We got to play different schools on the day from around Bray and had a really good time representing our school.

 

Dublinia Viking Exhibition

5th and 6th class went to the Dublinia Viking Exhibition, on Wednesday as part of their Viking studies in SESE. We all had a wonderful day and we learned so much about the Viking people, their settlements, how they travelled, where they travelled to and we even got to sit inside one of their homes. It was really dark and smelly! When we finished the exhibition, we sat outside Christchurch and ate our lunch in an outdoor Amphitheater. It was really cool.

Maths Champs

5th and 6th class really enjoyed Maths Week in Ravenswell.

A huge congratulations goes to all the girls who worked very hard on all the maths activities, and special congratulations goes to those girls who were crowned Maths Champs this week. 

Pumpkin Carving

We all had a great time this week carving our own pumpkins in class. The best bit was scooping out the insides of the pumpkin, as our hands got very messy.

Monday's Maths Champs!!!

Well done to Sophie and Caitlyn on becoming Monday's Maths Champions. We will have a new set of champions everyday this week, as part of Maths Week 2013.

 

Irish Counties Project

Well done to all the girls on completing their first project for this year. We all had one Irish County to research and study and they all look amazing....

A lovely treat....

5th and 6th had Hot Chocolate this week after completing their September projects. It was a well deserved treat.
