6th Class Retreat

On Thursday the 29th of January, the 6th class girls and boys from Ravenswell and St. Peter's had a retreat day in preparation for their upcoming Confirmation. The retreat was held in St Peter's parish hall where the students spent the day in prayer, participating in group activities and learning a new song about the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, which went down a treat! A special thank you to Sr. Patricia for organising such a special day ahead of receiving the Holy Spirit.

Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP)

This year, 6th class are participating in JEP (Junior Entrepreneur Programme). The girls use their creativity to come up with individual business ideas, they come together as a class to choose one idea and then work to turn this idea into reality over a 10-week period.
Last week, the girls came together in groups to brainstorm business ideas. They came up with fantastic ideas and then, in their groups pitched them to the dragons; Ms. Breen, Ms. Mchale and Ms. Barry.
The dragons were highly impressed with their hard work and the imagination and thought that went into not only their posters but all their presentation skills.
This project is not only creating a buzz amongst the girls but also with the staff. Watch this space ...........
